As an SYC parent, I appreciated how they announced the 2004-2005 teams on IG over the last two days. Picture of the coaches with the teams and announced by birth year. Thoughtful, easy to understand, and visual. Answered a lot of questions parents had before tryouts start next week. Putting faces to names is important and a nice touch.
Just sharing if other parents might request something similar from their clubs. |
| 2024-2025 teams!!! |
All the big clubs do this |
That’s pretty common. |

This is a good move. I can show my kid who the coaches are before tryouts. Also, you can look up licenses at the US Soccer license look up, by putting in First & Last name and State.
Nothing like trying out for a team and you don't know who the coach is. |
You would think it's standard/common but I've experienced going into new seasons with a lot of unknowns about who would be coaching. Admittedly, it was at a smaller, highly unorganized clubs. So, yes if clubs can lockdown and publicize coaches beforehand, it's so much better... |
| Yes, so kind of SYc to announce that a top mls team was loosing a coach kids had signed up for through a Facebook announcement. Also a fun way for a coach to find out who might be taking over his team. |

Does anyone have any feedback they can share on the 2011 Girls coaches, specifically the GA II coach?
I have heard the GA coach is excellent but I am not familiar with the GA II coach. |
Well I know it isn't achilles so who is it |
Curious too. Found his IG: The goodbye messages are nice. https://www.instagram.com/p/C58VP17Oq1A/?img_index=1 |
| Based on that IG seems like a great coach. Excited for 2011s |
Who are you trying to fool?!? Every club does this but nice try with the marketing for SYC.

Tryouts start in a week for our club, we have no idea who the coaching staff will be for next year.

SYC posted their MSLN / GA coaching slate the week of their ID sessions.
