Kushner, Manafort and Don Jr. met with a Russian lawyer with Kremlin ties during the campaign

So Kushner STILL has a security clearance? Does Donny Jr.?

How can these people still be allowed access to vital intelligence? If they are under investigation, and there is evidence they have met with representatives of a foreign government for nefarious purposes and lied about it, why do they still have access to US secrets?

This is crazy. These people cannot be trusted and apparently nothing is being done about it!

Like Ivana before them, these children were given unprecedented power and authority without accountability. It looks like it went to their heads. They apparently thought they reported to no one, and they seem to have acted without thinking. The story of Trump Jr.’s emails with this English publicist could be an example of inexperience coupled with a sense that they are so powerful that rules don’t apply to them."

So it begins...Trump is willing to throw his own children under the bus for misdeeds of his own genesis. Predictable Republican talking point. Trump has been in bed with the Russians for more than 20 years and his day of reckoning is coming.

Are we winning yet?

Sounds like Trump is gonna pay back Putin what he owes for the Russian help in his victory.

They must be starting the squeeze. First it was sharing Junior's emails. Next it will be an ear.

Worth reading "The Russian Scandal Dots are Never Going to Connect."

A reminder of the context -- shadowy spy land, not a widely-communicated corporate-style strategic plan.

I'm hoping that Spicey handles the off-camera presser tomorrow so that I can learn more about the "Majinsky Act."

Interesting theory: the dossier that was brought to the meeting wasn't on Hillary. It was on Trump

Now that's a great spy plot. Lure the neophytes to a meeting by promising dirt, set the stage with an intimidating cast of henchmen, and then show the craven bozos that they are owned.

Scary, and quite possibly true.

Uh, maybe the subject line of the email chain?

This is why he and Sarah refuse to go on-camera. No one wants their lies recorded forever.

Me, too, Don. Me too.

Donald Trump Jr. is reportedly "miserable" and can't wait for the next four years to end.

A family friend especially close to Trump Jr. and Eric Trump told People the loyalty within their family is "insane."

Here is the memo the Russian attorney wrote for the meeting

http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/10/16/heres-memo-kremlin-lawyer-took-to-meeting-donald-trump-jr/

Remember, Trump personally directed the false stories around adoptions and coordinated from AF-1.

Remember, Trump reacted by 1) changing the GOP platform on Ukraine and 2) tweeting out almost immediately the call for Hillary's 33,000 emails.

Remember, multiple avenues to establishing back channels to Russia including via Erik Prince (via Qatar) and Jared Kushner (via the offing Russian embassy on Wisconsin Avenue)

"According to Scott Balber, a lawyer for the Russian real estate mogul Aras Agalarov and his son, Emin, who helped arrange the meeting, Veselnitskaya’s message became muddled as it was passed along."
Scott Balber also represented Donald Trump in his lawsuit against Bill Maher.
