No clown.

I'm pretty sure whoever is claiming this is karma does not know what karma is....

Karma here saying they don't listen to the Kane show but listen to the STM show. Then those same people calling for people of the Kane show to be fired. ONLY to have the show they support get cancelled and the Kane show lives on it all it's fakeness. That's what Karma is.

Well he majority of posts haven't been huge fans of STM- in fact it has been said the show is pretty boring and discussing the lack of entertaining morning shows in the DMV (DC, Maryland, & VA to the person assuming that other poster was discussing living in the Department of Motor Vehicles). I think as a whole people were supportive of another morning show attempting to bring something new to the area and supporting people who have been wronged by Kane.

While their show was not that interesting (and mind you, I listen to neither) they didn't get dropped as a morning show their station is doing an overhaul- meaning they dropped everyone. Not really Karma...

As for me, I dont like Kane at all and haven't listened to the Kane show since before his announcement but I also was never able to get into STM. So them leaving really means nothing. From reading other posts I think that is the consensus.

Kind of makes it worse for The Kane Show...people didn't leave because they loved STM, the stopped listening because they stopped liking The Kane Show.

It was a joke.....hence the smiley face. Anyone that has lived in the DC area for a long time knows not to call DC the DMV.

Actually you looked like the one without a clue, as people who have lived in the DC area for a long time commonly call it the DMV. ?????????????

Not pp. By no stretch would I say it is "commonly" used least of all by long-time residents.

That was way back stuff when they used to work on different radio stations in MN at the same time. Danni was on the hip hop station which I, suburban MN girl has grad '07 listened to. John is my age and was on KDWB when I was in college.

Dave Ryan (John's morning show host that he brings up from time to time) Openly talks on the radio about Tony Fly (Danni's MN morning show host of the hip hop station, Kane says "I love Tony") and how awful of a human he is. He tells a story about how his 12 year old daughter was at the bus stop and Tony's station vehicle drove by and said "your dad is a F*g!!!" Classy guy to be associated with...

Is 'Tony Fly' (dumb name) the boss that Danni went back to 'confront' on her retreat?

Birds of a feather....

She confronted an ex.

Wrong, I have friends all over the DC area for over 20 years, and no one calls DC the DMV. As far as I am concerned, if you meet someone new and they ask where you are from, you say DC because any city within a 50 mile radius of the DC line is DC, and if they ask which part, that means they are familiar enough with the area to potentially know certain cities.

NP here. It IS commonly used by black residents. But you wouldn't know that.

New poster - I've lived in the DC area for over 20 years and I know lots of people who refer to this area as the DMV. I don't call DC the DMV, but the general area. Also, I'm specifically from MD (within the 50 mile radius of DC) and I never refer to myself as living in DC. I don't know anyone who does this unless they specifically live in the district.

Yeah, just because it's used on traditionally black radio stations and is the newer vernacular by some residents in some wards and parts of close-in Maryland towns doesn't mean it is commonly used and NOT by longterm residents. But you wouldn't be open to hearing that.

Everyone is different - but let's say you are in Stafford, most people that are not from here would know where Stafford is. Same goes for most of southern Maryland. The list goes on and on.

Maybe not by you, but you do seem out of the loop being so indignant that it isn't a thing. People say it all the time, not just "black residents and radio stations".

Let's re-center this thread.

Pic on Danni's FB of her with a green screen, so definitely not a reality show. I'm thinking some sort of segment on E! She's a Ryan Seacrest bud now, right?

Comment on the pic says an announcement is coming November 14. I'll be holding my breath.
