The Golden Bachelor

And where is this third house they're going to buy? Somewhere in the middle, like Pittsburgh or Chicago or the lake shores?

BTW, I can't see Leslie having the money to go halfsies on another property. We didn't even see her apartment during the family episode. Which confirms for me that it must be Theresa.

QUESTION: what do you think the "never been done before" part is?

My guess: Gerry's family and Theresa's family are there for the proposal. It's a big family meet-n-greet. Blending of two families .

Or Leslie decides to walk away on her own? Has that ever happened?

Faith basically walked away when she told Gerry she needed to live near her dead horse. But that was the top 3, not the top 2. And Joan walked away earlier on.

Andi walked away from Juan Pablo on her own after the overnights. There were three overnights at that time, so two women were still left. Then Juan Pablo dumped Claire (where she read him the riot act), and picked the other one (can't remember her name, but she was a nurse from Kansas City area -- obviously they broke up after a pretty long try to make it work).

I can't remember anyone else walking away after the overnights.

For anyone interested in the fashion worn by the top three:

Say what you will about Theresa, she had good fashion game. Thought she looked really lovely in the Anthropologie blue dress in particular. Leslie had some good looks as well. Wish I could pull off the light blue Norma Kamali outfit she wore in Costa Rica. She looked amazing.

Interesting. A lot of Theresa's outfits/dresses are very current and stylish -- but IMO, they are stylish for a 30 yr old. I don't think she or the other women did themselves ANY favors when they wore strapless dresses or very low v-shape cutouts. All it does is accentuate the sag-situation.

My favorite outfits are the dresses that are one-shoulder (love that silver ruched dress -- I think it was Leslie -- super flattering and enough coverage vs. the horrible black short dress with the lace deep V --- yuck.) Leslie's blue floral robe after the overnights was WAY more feminine, sexy, pretty than a booty short. The flowy-ness of silk like fabrics, and the movement of it, and frankly the coverage, so much better.

Yes, Theresa wore "stylish" clothes... but many were not that flattering. Age should be considered, imo. (FWIW, I'm a Theresa fan for the win.)

I mostly really enjoyed seeing "goldens" dress more fashionably and yes, more sexily. Occasionally there were misses. Agree Leslie's low-cut lace cut-out black dress was unflattering and I didn't think the green Reformation dress was flattering for Theresa. Showed lumps and bumps (when she has very few of those) and not right color for her skin tone.

I am 72 and I would give anything to have a figure like theresa or Leslie!
I am not fat!
Two dif body types
I personally hate to see women begging for a man, it’s unnatural
The female is the prize, not other way around
Men are used to being rejected that’s the dating game.

I liked Theresa's fashion for the most part, but why can the lady not apply lipstick correctly? Makes her look a little cuckoo.

I hate Leslie has to resort to acting common at her age. The 69 comment would come from a high school teenager and it’s cringe worthy from them. I can’t imagine a woman that’s almost 70 saying that ,it’s embarrassing as a woman to hear her say that.
Sad
I’m sure she’s not, but she comes off as a slime bucket. She needs to clean up her act.
Too old to act that way
Little refinement please

It was a crass remark. I didn't like it either, but you're being too harsh. She may have been quite tipsy at that point. Slime bucket, really?

You are kind
Classless is that better?
Yes I cringed watching that show with my 43 yr old daughter and 16 yr old granddaughter and her dad. It was appalling a women her age who by the way has her own kids and grandkids to hearing
Drunk ok
Tipsy ok
Not nice and totally out of line to say
Was just crude for nothing
But Leslie comes off that way
that was my point ,unnecessary She’s a beautiful girl she’s got a lot going for her. Why does she have to demean her self like that it’s very sad, but you’re very kind to give her a pass.
I am in 70’s and pretty cool
but come on Leslie
That was abhorrent when I was in high school that expression
