Teachers: It’s mid-March. Please spell my child’s name correctly already!

I’ve been teaching 13 years and taught multiple Isaacs. I had been spelling it Issac for years but just noticed this year that all 3 of my Isaacs are spelled with 2 As! Opps!

My kid's teacher has misspelled her (standard American name, with variants) all year long. During such a stressful year, I'm not going to complain about it. But I'm a prof who learns at least 100 new names per year, so I don't get it.

Can you spell the name correctly already?!? It means a lot to my child and when you get it wrong, they think you don’t care enough to try to get it right, no matter how much I try to reassure them.

Thanks for listening and maybe being a tiny bit more careful.

I purposefully say some names improperly and blame it on my immigrant a55
