| And Pipeline just lost in the final 2-0... |
I dont even known what that means. My kid is not at loudoun, pipeline or fcv , If your comment is to the previous post right above yours. I’m just talking generic changes that happen from 9v9 to 11v11. Some teams have trouble making the change. Fitness, strength, puberty, coaching, politics, etc. |
Teams and coaches change from year to year, and scores are not reliably correlated to performance in any case. I doubt the switch from 9v9 to 11v11 makes much difference by itself though. |

So much for all the talk on the Virginia teams. Bethesda beat Arlington in the 2nd Group final as well. Guess those Friendlies really don’t mean much after all.
Guess we can put Maryland in front of Virginia now. We’ll never know about McLean because they don’t do any tournaments and play in the weakest league. |
Do you mean the final you were NOT in? |
How did that lost feel today? Guess Pipeline isn’t “over-rated”!!! |
Hey bud what happened?
|
Um. We won. We’ve been crushing 11v11 all year while you losers in the DMV are still trying to figure out 9v9! Good luck next year. |
You won an extremely weak tier. BARELY! 2-0. There were higher ranked teams in the 2009 2nd group than in your “Juniors” Division. You are overrated. Enjoy getting your butts kicked in Texas. |
Not in the 09s! |
This! Little does this poster know. 2009 BRYC was in the same tier. If BRYC would have played on age, they would have been 6th or 7th tier. South Carolina Surf might have been 4th or 5th. You gave up two goals to them. Please go back to New Jersey and enjoy it before the PDA machine takes over. |
Let’s be clear about something. Your goal was lucky was 1 in 100 because our goalie made a mistake. Your players are dirty, one of them especially. Sure you got this win but I doubt you get another. Would be easier to take if you would have done well in the final but your kickball tactics only work so much. |
The friendlies mean about as much as these games. No one game means all that much really. They're all good teams and sometimes one wins, and sometimes another. If you watch the game you may be able to draw some conclusions about which team is better, and which kkids more technical - but even then a single game is a pretty small sample size - especially if there isn't much to choose between teams. I watched my DS's team beat a better team 6-1 once. The better team was still the better team after that game. |
But our team made it to the finals Stay mad Loudon

I would make excuses about your goal as well, but there were none to make excuses about. Carry on. (L) |
