I have to say that her youngest daughter is a trooper. Seeing her pictures with her new feeding tube is sobering and has to be so tough on any mom. I'm wishing all good things for both of them.

I'm not a "fan" but I've watched this board tear her apart for ages. May be a good time to remember you have no idea what is really going on in someone's life and show her a little grace.

She has eosinophilic gastroenteritis, which is disease of the gastrointestional track. From what I gather, she can't eat comfortably/gain weight successfully/has failure to thrive. Seems like they tried options before getting here, but her post said she'd gained 5lb in a week, so that's the right direction. I might not agree with Danni on pretty much anything, but I can't imagine going through that as a mom (Slim is in the islands and probably can't get to the US? No clue.). Anyway, here's to better days ahead for her little girl.

It’s not about youth. There’s nothing in the pic that remotely resembles who she is today. Or even any of her PR shots over the last 5-8 years.
