Federal contractor here. I've been on calls and nonstop working since 9. I've got a contractual deliverable due at the end of the day. |

| I’m a teacher at home. I’m in my 8th year of teaching and it has been the worst year by far so I am happy to have a break. I have all of the below grade level students (well, one of them is at grade level and 27 are below). Exhausting and frustrating are the word to describe my year so far. The classes were purposely created to put all of the low students in two classes and all of the high students in one class. All new students (unless they are gifted) come into the two low classes so not only do we have all low students, we have at least 5 more each than the gifted class. The low students also have some of the worst behaviors as you can imagine. Most of them cannot pay attention for longer than a few minutes at a time which makes teaching our curriculum a challenge. A few of them have family issues that spill over into school. We have two explosive kids who go from fine to throwing things in five seconds. My confession is that I hope the school year is over. Spring break was going to be in mid April and I don’t think I could’ve made it that long. |

Let my 13yr old son go biking Yesterday. Thought I made it clear not to interact with anyone...
He ended up joining a bunch of other kids and went to the neighborhood gas station. |

By sheer coincidence I restocked all or most of my home supplies right before the craze. Think about Costco size TP and Clorox wipes packages. I don’t tell anyone about it.
I ran out of rubber gloves though. I use them to color my hair so I am just hoping things will calm down in this regard in a couple weeks. Yikes! |

And this is how Timmy died... Mom send him on the bike to park but he went play with boys he got coronavirus there and made a dying noise.. |
More hugs.. It is through those little moments and things like that that she is present with you there now and you need the feeling. Good for you OP.. it won't kill you but you need a cozy happy presence of your mom. |
Reading a Washington Post letter about lessons from Italy. “... don’t let your teenagers out of your sight. They will sneak out with their friends, they will hold hands, they will share their drinks and food.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/03/17/hello-italy-your-future-is-grimmer-than-you-think/ |
Thank you for your kind words!
