Does Trump have a neurological disorder?

He’s a freaking hypocritical pig!

He’s stimming because he’s autistic.

In people with autism, stimming might be more obvious. For example, it may present as full-body rocking back and forth, twirling, or flapping the hands. It can also go on for long periods. Often, the individual has less social awareness that the behavior might be disruptive to others.

No. Just stop. And stop disrespecting autistic persons.

He’s a jerk and they don’t care!

He really does seem to have a childlike lack of self-awareness/self-consciousness. He is completely unaware of how embarrassing his behavior is. His son, an actual child, understood how to behave in that moment.

I'm not disrespecting autistic persons. There are tons of episodes of Trump doing stuff like this. He's clearly stimming. He's also never released a medical report, so god knows what he is actually struggling with.

We wouldn't even need to have this discussion if he wasn't constantly lying and obfuscating his health.

New Rule: any comparison to Trump is an insult, and disrespectful, for a number of reasons. I fully support this ruling.

However, this isn’t autism. Trump has social awareness, he just doesn’t give a damn. His history never demonstrated these behavioral “tics”; they’ve surfaced over time. His medical records would show falsified docs to avoid deployment, psychiatric evaluations, and on-set dementia. Maybe positive drug tests. His tax returns will show heavy foreign bribery, money laundering through rea estate and other ventures, a lack of profit in most of his business dealings, and would make him a high risk security threat.

So I've been ignoring this thread but that video of Trump during the National Anthem is crazy. I've thought he's in the early stages of dementia for a while, but his illness appears to be progressing. I remember taking my mom to a baseball game when she was early in her Alzheimer's diagnosis and she was the same way during the National Anthem - fidgeting, talking, not at all in the moment. Wow, this is scary.

And does he sit before the song is over?! He adjusts his chair!

Yes. He sits down before it’s over after no one pays attention to his erratic behavior.

Don’t worry. There’s precedent: the GOP propped up Jelly Bean Alzheimer’s in the 80s and were never held to account for that.

Has there ever been a president unfit for office that had been removed for a medical condition?

And it looks nothing like stimming.

Yup. He sat down half way through the song.
