As not a criminal and not one who spends any time around criminals, is there ever a point at which a criminal is just like, “the jig is up. I may as well come clean” or is there still omertà among these losers?

Can a lawyer give a range of how long the Epstein trial will go, including all the phases? A year? Two years? There are allegedly so many rich, famous and/or powerful people implicated, how long until they’re named or charged? Is every other rapist involved going to be able to skate, or will some of them actually face consequences? Does this case a enough attention on it that they can’t get away now?
