I’m just not inclined to lynch white people because it’s their turn...
Jail time is ludicrous, but prosecutors have to move the negotiations has far over as they can. I get it. It’s why I support the death penalty. It gives the prosecutors the ability to play hardball if the needle is on the table.
But for this? Meh.
I’m sure a fine would suffice. Maybe she could do some community service for at risk youth- help raise money to open more doors for kids who need it. Maybe pay for two kids to go to USC, since she literally only impeded spaces for two kids.

The lack of logic in this post is bizarre. She willfully committed fraud. What on earth does this have to do with "white woman's tears"? But at least we're clear there is one or more Trump supporters in the house.

I'm a Trump supporter and no way am I defending what Laughlin did. Good grief, she knowingly and willfully committed fraud - twice. Trump was elected into office rightfully You might have sour grapes over Trump being there but that doesn't mean that he is in his position fraudulently. Laughlin's daughters on the other hand....yep, fraud.

Uh huh... still not following why you are bringing Trump into this... her commiting a crime is not what I’m discussing. Level of vitriol being out of proportion to the alleged crime. Try to stay with us.

Her committing a crime is not what you're discussing? Isn't that all we should be discussing, in addition to the culture of entitlement and privilege that led her to believe it was okay to fraudulently gain admission for her children who did not merit it? Thinking her actions are minor in any way, or that she should somehow get a pass because "women just hate other attractive women" is an indication of a seriously flawed moral compass.

Delighting in the downfall of another isn’t exactly a shining beacon either, which is what most of the threads have descended into.

Sorry should have made it clear - I was responding to the "we're clear there is one or more Trump supporters in the house" statement. I am not the above pp but I am a Trump supporter and I can assure you that I do not support this sort of cheating.

Thank you, I did not mean to paint with that broad a brush. It was the "white woman's tears" comment that led me to make that assumption about that one particular poster. My spouse is conservative, and also thinks the proverbial book should be thrown at the whole lot.

The idea that she and her husband tried to steamroll and intimidate that poor school guidance counselor....

She's a nasty bully.

I don't think expressing shock and anger about her terrible actions is the same thing as delighting in her downfall. I don't care what she looks like, and I don't think most other people do either. The concern is with immoral and illegal actions being properly adjudicated. I don't think anyone believes Felicity Huffman is any less culpable because she's less attractive than Loughlin, only that her low-key appearance and apparent shame (and decision not to sign autographs in that venue) represent the more appropriate response given the gravity of the alleged crimes.

Well, I’m the poster who made the “white women tears” comment, and I didn’t vote for Trump. So maybe find a different brush?

She and Smollett both need jail time.

Didn’t they know about it? I don’t see this changing much between her and her kids.

The Youtuber moved out and is staying with her boyfriend. Much has changed.

Oh please. Pretty sure Mommy and Daddy are still fronting her lifestyle.

No. Olivia Jade had enough followers and endorsements she made a lot of money already. I would assume she probably already made at least her first half miliion. She lost her sponsors, but could make a comeback with the right approach.

Self-made!

I’m the above poster and I’m not convinced either should be in jail.
I thought his story was fishy, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Seems the court should do its job, and that has been impeded.
He possibly cost tax payers quite a bit and there should be an answer for that.
I certainly don’t delight in any aspect of that case.

Well, her mommy and daddy have managed to make her a total laughing stock. She's not going to live this down and no one wants to look like her now.

If she maintains her channel can you imagine the comments she'll get? She'll probably get views but it won't be because people admire her style....
