. Express into a bottle. They should have the xtra seat. |
I think posters on this thread must be related to that witch. |
I agree with this. I am uncomfortable being too close to a strange dog; how come someone gets to relieve their 'anxiety' while generating anxiety for me? That is bullshit. |
Can't people who require more room just buy themselves seats in first class? Aren't those seats in first class more roomy? Maybe they could have even sat next to each other in first class and avoided all the fuss with the rude lady. |
So this couple bought aisle and window but take a substantial part of the middle b/c of their size, and then we know the woman talked to the FA asking to be re-seated, and then the cursing big woman starts secretly recording the exchange for almost 4 minutes, with silence for a large part of it.
I doubt it was a big scene before that, b/c other passengers would have recorded it. I think the couple was setting themselves up to win a lawsuit — bet they will sue the women and the airline. Vegas baby! |
They probably can’t afford it or don’t want to spend a lot more $$ to do so. Are you really that out of touch? |
First class is way way more expensive. They needed graduated pricing, maybe just charge by weight and volume already. |
I'm a 5'10' fit female, and I would do the same in the heartbeat! I fly overseas regularly and every time I dread being stuck in those seats for 8 hours on end. I always, always, buy an aisle seat so that I can stretch my legs a bit and stand up easily. |
I went to a few doctor’s appointments in PG County with my brother. The office was literally filled with people like those two passengers. The waiting room had oversized chairs the size of a loveseat. My brother and I shared one. Every other chair was filled to capacity by an individual. |
It’s complete BS. Why should a passenger have an asthma attack or an anaphylactic reaction because someone can’t manage their anxiety on a plane? |
The couple should have offered to sit together and let the woman have the aisle.
I had to sit between two very large men for a long flight, and it was miserable. I remained pleasant and didn't complain, but it was rather awful. When one suggested raising the armrests "to give US more room," I gently said, "No thanks." It was bad enough having their legs on me and their arms and upper bodies squishing me. You pay for your seat, not your neighbor's. |
DING! DING!!! We have a winner!! What this thread has been about all along! Let's be prejudiced against overweight people AND black people . You know some of you should not even be allowed to classify yourselves as human beings. |
Then don’t complain. You fly coach you deal with small seats and no leg room. |
Haven’t flown, have you? |
Exactly. Airlines over sell and then screw everyone over. So save your outrage for AIRLINES who don't provide seats that can fit most customers. My DH is 6'5" and 240. He does not fit in economy seats, though he squeezes in plenty of times. Airlines have made flying a miserable experience, so the only thing I am mad at in this situation are airlines. |
