Argument stemming from husband's Perrier sparkling water addiction. Who's in the wrong?

Not OP, but obviously she finds the whole thing irritating. It's like the teenagers who go through a whole week's worth of snacks in an afternoon, leave wrappers everywhere for you to clean up and then complain that they're hungry. It sounds like she goes through the hassle of stocking water that she wants to have as a treat for the whole family and the husband plows through it thoughtlessly and leaves a mess for her to clean up.

Obviously, she needs to reframe it in her head. If something this easy makes him happy, just do it.

Agree with the pages of PPs. OP needs to stop buying the Perrier and then needs to butt out of what her husband drinks.

DH can drink whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and how much of it he wants, but he has to buy it himself and lug it home (or pay for Amazon to deliver it).

I’m addicted to sparkling water, it’s how I was able to stop drinking soda pop. I drink 1-2 one litre bottles a day. Sometimes 3 on weekends. I’ve tried to like the soda stream water but it’s not carbonated enough. Trader Joe’s has bottles for $1 so now that’s what I buy unless arrowhead is on sale for less. You can also get Perrier at Costco. I found I drank less when I got the smaller bottles at TJ’s, not the one litres. I’m on your husbands side but he can buy and lug it himself.

Or if it's that important to him, he can buy it himself. I don't like my husband drinking Coke in front of our small kids, so I don't buy it. If he wants to drink Coke, he can get it himself. He's fine with that.

Oh wow. Unless you are on a tight budget, let the man have his Perrier. It's WATER. It's not drugs, alcohols, or even carbs.

I know a lot of people have said he should buy it himself. I think if you're doing the shopping anyway, and your husband wants something that is perfectly healthy and that you can afford, it's really petty to refuse.

Perrier is mineral water and the carbonation is done at the source.
