Argument stemming from husband's Perrier sparkling water addiction. Who's in the wrong?

He buys them himself, lugs them himself. Done.

To be clear, it's not the 6-pack of tiny bottles, I'm talking big 1L bottle tables are supposed to share. I was raised that sparkling water is more-so a palate cleanser, it's uncouth to lap it up like you just finished a sportball match. Drives me up a wall to see all those empty 1L bottles stacking up.

This has to be a troll. Who says “sportball match”?!

People who need everyone to know they don't like or know anything about sports.... there are a bunch of them here, no idea why they are so worried about it.

OP - I understand and can relate to the feeling. I was raised with midwestern "we don't indulge too much!" sensibilities. One can of soda a day, icecream but no toppings etc - I don't know how the rules were created but anything else feels excessive and wasteful.

It drives me nuts that my husband will plan through multiple cans of soda a day even though financially it doesn't make a difference. But at the end of the day it's my problem, not his

Divorce him - he has an addiction and should be cast adrift.

Probably also has ADHD and is on the spectrum.

I think he should buy it in bulk and keep it stocked - or get a soda stream. I used to drink a lot f the Whole Foods version of Perrier and Soda Stream fixed that for me.

My DW leaves half full sparkling water plastic bottles all over the house.

Did you guys know that 10 liters of water weight 22 lbs? So you carry an extra 22 pounds from the store to your car and from the car to your house once a week and are complaining about it?? That’s literally like picking up a toddler twice. How weak are you? Do you have ALS or something that makes you especially weak?

Oh geez, I am the worst with this. Luckily my H just laughs about it and doesn’t hold it (nor my sparkling water problem) against me. He is a saint.

Not OP, but obviously she finds the whole thing irritating. It's like the teenagers who go through a whole week's worth of snacks in an afternoon, leave wrappers everywhere for you to clean up and then complain that they're hungry. It sounds like she goes through the hassle of stocking water that she wants to have as a treat for the whole family and the husband plows through it thoughtlessly and leaves a mess for her to clean up.
