Dp- more than a tiny minority are put off by obvious facial moles, is my guess. But no one says anything out loud to the person. |
Except most people HAVE facial moles. And most people don't get all their moles removed. A big obvious mole -- yeah people will get that removed. Anything the size of Lively's or smaller -- no most people truly do not care. Somehow people with moles on their faces still get married and have friends and have jobs and lead happy lives. I really do think it's a tiny minority who are put off by a normal size mole. If people were actually experiencing prejudice over this then everyone would get their moles removed (it's not even expensive as cosmetic changes go -- nothing compared to getting teeth straightened or keeping hair dyed or straightened or any of the things many people actually do to make their appearance more pleasing to others) but in reality most people don't. I really think this is just a you thing. |
I find Rachel McAdams to be so beautiful. |
Agreed and truly think her moles enhances her beauty. I don't always feel that way about moles but her's gives this little bit of interest that in particular seems to draw attention to her smile and cheekbones. I feel similarly about Natalie Portman's moles. They highlight her cheekbones and draw attention to her delicate bone structure. |
This is a DP, again WHO CARES! She may be one of tens who share the opinion. Are we required to have our opinions match the masses? Is this Gen Z requirement? We need to fall in line? |
Buy why have an opinion about the opinion of someone on a message board that you don't know? You are not seeking to marry them or employ them, and on the other hand you have no influence over them. They are to you a set of keystrokes. |
But then WHO CARES that PP or anyone doesn't like moles? You are also demanding people falling line, just a different line. |
Again -- then why do you have an opinion? Who made you the police if who is allowed to have what opinions and when? Oh yeah-- no one. |
You don't think people should have an opinion about B.L. I don't think you should have one about a poster. You don't think I should have this opinion. I think you are wrong about this. Starting the "hey don't say that!" Proclimation only results in this vicious loop that never ends, this is what happens when you address people directly on a web forum for just existing and talking. You expect them not to respond back? |
I never said you can't have an opinion. Just that it is (1) wrong, and (2) not commonly shared. Someone (you?) has asserted throughout this thread that most people are grossed out by moles. I don't think this is true because I'm almost 50 and have heard people express distaste for moles maybe once or twice in my life. And even then only certain moles. Like I once knew a woman who had a large raised mole right at the base of her nose between her nostrils. It was an unfortunate location and I heard it spoken of negatively. But on the other hand I've know dozens of other people with moles on their faces and never heard a negative word about them. If you want to shout from the rooftops that you think moles are terrible and disgusting and people should always have moles on their faces and hands removed, go for it. It's a free country. And I will continue to point out that this is a fringe opinion shared by not a single other person I know. |
i don’t like it. |
A lof i i i in your post wow, that is not how stats work, I and my crew think something so it must be right. And you emphasize "single other" like that really means something. Even if the entire world agrees with you (which is not the case), why does that matter? Are we under communism? Do we need to follow the party line? You keep on telling us well Most people don't agree with you blah blah, please explains why that matters. Honestly I would like to know. |
Back to moles - Rachel mcadams if you google the reality of it is pretty brutal.
Nathalie postman’s hardly count and Blake’s is fine. I disagree that most people have facial moles. I did and I was in a minority among my friends. I had them removed. I think if you have very small moles and you are very attractive it’s fine but the larger the mole or the less attractive the more it’s a ratio that like it or not, people are going to notice |
People spend thousands of dollars on clothing, weight-loss, cars, plastic surgery, & beauty treatments in desperate attempts to make themselves even a little more attractive, but it’s too much trouble to spend an hour at a dermatologist getting that unsightly mole hacked off your face? |
I actually don't think fair skinned people are more prone to dark moles. To freckles, absolutely but I see many darker skinned white people with dark moles. I'm fair and my few moles look like freckles, they're flesh toned. The dark ones I have had removed, in part because they really are prominent on fair skin. Most were small. |
