As soon as you get off the plane, even in the airport, you feel the difference.

Do you know what I am talking about??

You mean, that it is quiet (even the TSA tones down the yelling) and nice?

My kid is also heading to the Upper Midwest. We hope he never comes back...

And one day (not too soon) we will follow.

DD is transferring after two years of community college to a four year in Michigan. She needed this time to mature and has become a confident student.

Re: IU Kelly School of Business

I graduated from IU's Kelly school as well as several of my siblings. Currently, several of my nieces and nephews attend IU, so I'm familiar with the current culture. If your DD wants to enroll in Kelly, I strongly suggest she join a sorority. It's just the culture of the business school. If she does it will serve her well and if not, she will be an outliner. So, hopefully DD is interested in sororities. Too, IU sororities are very hard to get into. I think it's that there is more demand than supply. Two of my five nieces were totally shut out even from the two sororities their grandmother and mother's were in. These girls have it all going for them, so I don't know why. I'm not trying to put down Kelly, just trying to give you more information.

Why would someone who went to the school keep making the same typo over and over?

Kelley.

Good to know. I give zero credibility to a school with such a strong sorority culture.

Yeah. I'm from NY and spent a very looooong grad career at UM. Took me a while to get used to it. Now I miss it.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. It sad that so many people on this forum want to nitpick spelling and grammar and label people as trolls. This forum provides useful information and posts like yours and the previous nitpicking ones are just clutter. I've been labeled a troll a lot. A lot of posters think if they don't know something, or in this case a misspell something, it must be a troll. Go find something else to do. You're not adding anything. I was.
