PP, don’t respond. You don’t need to. It was a very simple tangential question of whether some DC schools were widely known. I don’t understand why you feel the need to diminish others’ achievement. You can google. These are all great schools with children in them. So what if SFS TJ STA NCS have a greater renown. It’s a good thing for all of us that our schools are great. I was just curious which of our schools were well regarded outside of DC and googled and shared what I found. Facts. Not alternative facts. I didn’t even care which school turned out to come out on top, but it was Sidwell.

What about money?
We are new to DC and are thinking of applying to S or GDS for middle school or high school. We could budget for it; but it would also be an investment for us. I just do not want our kid to get locked down at as he is not coming from a wealthy family. We now live in NW DC and even at our public school I get that feeling sometimes...
