Yep. I thnk most of what Trump himself does is sheer shit-show, with no thought or strategy whatsoever. But this performance by Miller was perfectly plotted out and played by the nationalist faction in the White House. Miller knew what he wanted to say, knew who he was dog-whistling to, and deliberately called on reporters from the "failing" NYT and CNN to get the job done.

Focusing on English is so dumb. We have never done that in our history and there is no need to start now. Acosta was right to call him out for that. BTW "Cosmopolitan" was not the only alt-right dog whistle Miller was blowing. That performance was for the base.
