This thread is about a TERMINALLY ILL baby in the UK whose parents in the UK and being denied, by several judges, the ability to perform medical experimentation on their baby, treatment which is not intended to cure the baby's illness nor is it expected to relieve the baby's suffering. It has nothing whatsoever to do with eugenics. |
This. Sanger was also very much pro birth control as a form of personal responsibility which is Republican's favorite thing after guns and god |
+1 And what about every other baby fighting for its life? This one will get some special attention, Republicans will all pat themselves on the backs and think they are good and moral people while all of those other babies don't get the care they need and die. And so too will this one UK baby. Don't break your arms off patting yourselves on your backs. |
And waiting . . . |
Ask yourselves why this child wasn't offered this experimental treatment in the U.K. well before he deteriorated this badly |
Exactly. |
It has everything to do with human rights. That inevitably deteriorate under the socialist government. It's a fact that's been proven many times, and I wish dumb people would learn from history already. I don't give a flying f*ck about any circumstances surrounding this situation. How parents are denied the rights to move their child to another hospital or have him die at home is beyond me. I fear this brave new world you're fighting to build. |
They are allowed to have him die at home. Generally, with the NHS, you don't get your choice of hospital, though. |
