Many analysts believe that he needs to have a clear win in this second debate in order to pull out ahead. I don't think we have that, so I am still worried. However, his performance does give me some hope towards the third debate.

Buffett has paid taxes since he was 13 and he has never used the carry forward loss provision in 72 years of tax filing. He paid close to $2Million in federal income taxes last year. he is under audit and says that he will release his taxes if Trump does BECAUSE there is no legal reason not to. Buffet was also donated close to #3Billion to charity last year.

Berkshire Hathaway is a public company, Trump Organization is not. You cannot really compare the two tax situations, not matter whose side you are trying to argue. If he paid $2M in federal tax last year, don't you think that's a bit low for someone worth $65B?

Hmmm - $65B in holdings generated $11M in income - or %0.00014%. Yeah, no tax planning there.

Why are you so keen to display your zero knowledge about finance to the public? $65B(maybe more now) is networth - which means it is paper money, in simple terms, just the number of shares he owns times price of each share. Plus any other assets. His gross income is what the board pays him for his role in the company.

Talk about ignorance. Buffet makes 100k a year from BH and hasn't changed in a couple of decades. One of BH's CEO's made over 40 million.

The lion share of his income is from dividends. Most of his assets are being given tot he Gates foundation and income from those assets are going there. Hence his 8+Billion to charity.

BH pays no dividend despite posting about $5B per year in profits. Were it to pay a dividend (as almost all companies of its size do), Buffet would be paying a hell of a lot more in tax. But he thinks he can allocate capital better than his investors, and can be bothered to pay taxes on the profits his company generates. He dodges taxes in his own way, whether you want to admit it or not.

Muslims are about 1% of USA population and white supremacists are like 10% of the population. The racists sympathizers maybe another 10%. According to FBI stats the racist groups and a white guy with a gun commit the most mass murders and hate crimes. But for the poorly educated mass the fear is driven by the other even when those amongst them are responsible for most crimes.

The thing that it did for me, after hearing that Trump tried to orchestrate a big dramatic event where Bill Clinton would shake hands with the four women they flew in and paid to attend to accuse the Clinton of misdeeds like it was a wrestling match and not a presidential debate -- the thing that did for me is make me lose all respect for Trump and his voters who stand by him through every single disgusting thing that comes out of his mouth.

We're at the point where it's not just him anymore believing those sexist and racist things. If he can say one of them after another and he's still your guy, the problem isn't just him, it's you, too.

Hey all you "Hillary supported a rapist" people-

Hillary was chosen as a public defender. It is nearly impossible to decline those cases and, in any event, attorneys see it as their job to defend this CONSTITUTIONALLY protected right. What you would do in that instance you absolutely cannot say. It's quite easy to speculate. But, until you're in that situation, you just don't know.

As for the victim there, research it a little. There is a fact-checker (short and to the point) on Washington Post today regarding this issue. The victim here has some credibility problems with making her case against HRC at this time. It's not a clear cut as you would think.

Finally, yeah, it does appear HRC laughed. But, she did not laugh AT the victim. She laughed at a flawed process that she had a duty to take advantage of to give her client full representation under the law. It shows some callousness, sure. But, anyone in a sensitive profession (Dr.s, nurses, and, yes, I would include criminal defense attorneys) have to develop a sort of thick skin against some of the things they see. So, I'm certainly not going to judge her for that. And, this whole thing has ZERO effect on how I will vote.

I don't watch Fox. I do listen to those I know and have come to respect, who work at Breitbart, the Heritage Foundation, and the Media Research Center. I have lost respect for others from the WaPo and NYT because they have fallen into this pit.

I watch what's going on in Europe very carefully. They are our test case for what will happen when refugees are placed here with only the 'vetting' we have. It can't be good if multiple refugees placed here have had active TB. How can one miss that?

ORLY? How is this working out for you? Still liking your guy now that he's essentially drunk tweeting at 11 in the morning about how his daddy Paul Ryan doesn't love him?

I was upset about Trump two days ago when he tried his debate stunt, but now that his campaign has descended into comedy, it's different. Trump's behavior on that tape is nothing unusual for Trump. He didn't initially want to issue an apology not just because he didn't think it would help him, but because he'd then be setting up a precedent to issue apology after apology once tape after tape after tape of him behaving like the boorish sexist and racist he is get leaked. And none of those tapes will bother Trump's base -- they will love it!

And it's one thing to bring these 4 women up in the media to get their stories out (again, but okay), and quite another to try to orchestrate a Wrestlemania-like event where they sit in the front row of the second live televised presidential debate and you watch them over and over for the rest of the news cycle shaking hands (or refusing to shake hands, who knows?) with Bill Clinton. He wanted to jig things up and rattle Hillary Clinton so she would tank the debate and was in effect trying to use those women as human shields. That's coarse and vulgar to me, but hey it's clear that if you support Trump your measurement of such things must be different.
