Kane from Kaneshow divorcing and crying on air right now (Part 3)

I want Sarah to take over the morning spot. How amazing would that be? What would Kane even do at that point?

I applaud her for basically keeping it real (saying how she gets that some people (like all of us) don't like her personality, and that's fine but she is who she is).

Danni, if you're still reading - good for you. Personally, I'm not too crazy about the way you were on the radio, but I am starting to respect the way you're facing all this head on!

I don't listen to this show, but after part III, I decided to google "Danni." Wow, I'm horrified.

This woman is hideous. I realize this is from only a few years ago. She shouldn't be on TV or radio. She needs a swift kick in the pants and someone to wash her mouth out with soap. I'm so embarrassed for her kids and for all you sad sacks that thrive on the fake, created "drama." Get a life.

Danni's said on multiple occasions that Bridezilla's is not real and it's essentially acting.

So she's "acting" like a real psycho for money? That makes it okay? No, reality TV isn't real life. So, she should stop prostituting herself on reality television--and radio for that matter. It's sad that Kardashian is a career aspiration.

We all know that Danni is only acting humbly, sweet, and accomodating to all the commenters right now because she's out of a full-time job. The moment she gets back on the Kane show (hopefully not), her first status update would be "God has a plan for me, I'm back to where I'm supposed to be. To all the haters who have doubted me, know that I still have a job you all want. And can I have 5 dollar now!?!!"

Why risk sabotaging that just so people you'll never meet in real life think you're right? Unless she wants to get a big girl job beyond blogging rudimentary crafts she should ride the gravy train as far as it'll take her in alimony.

If you could see the thousands of comments left on her page regarding the divorce calling her and her family all kinds of names, you'd eventually speak up too. Have you considered the fact that it's not about money also? People (and even Kane) have alluded that she married him for money and status, this seems to be the opposite. If it were me, I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut for this long especially in every picture of the kids I posted, somebody's gonna comment something about how I stole them from their dad.

Um... I don't get why Natasha wouldn't just delete/deactivate her social media. Problem solved... Get off instagram, get off twitter, have a cup of coffee and go on about your day. People aren't tackling her in the street for God's sake. It's not bravery or "taking a stand" to keep a silly page full of photos up. None of that is real. Get offline and focus on what matters. I feel no sympathy for her in regards to this because she could've easily deactivated or made her page private, but I really think part of her was thriving on the woe-is-me role, reveling in being the victim.

Even now, she alludes to "oh, what am I going to do with my life" but instead of anything remotely resembling progress (going on an interview, pursuing a non-blogging job that pays a stable salary) she posts a photos of:

1) A necklace she bought that made her feel better.

2) Valentines day stuff she bought herself. You know, to make her feel better.

3) Flowers she bought herself. To make her... You guessed it... Feel better.

Logical explanation: she decided she wasn't making enough money, wanted to renegotiate for a higher salary, they wouldn't let her on the air until a final contract was signed...? Maybe her requests exceeded the shows budget constraints? Seems like they've has cash problems for years

So you mean to tell me that he came home, noticed that safes were empty, kids/wife gone, hard drives gone...and you went to bed?!?!

I'm the poster in thread 2 who said I started to believe him.

If you listen to his breakdown, he's sort of all over the place. I think he came home wife/kids gone - they told him he was going on vacation (doesn't he even say "they said they were on vacation" at some point in the audio, though not at the beginning)

the next day he's pinged by the banks and starts looking into it. That's when he starts going through the house, discovering safes empty, hard drives gone, then researches and realizes all the gift card purchases.

I know he doesn't explain it in that order, but to me it sounds like someone who hasn't rehearsed, started by saying 'came home and everything is gone" but then sort of back tracks and goes through it step by step and at that time was kind of like, (next day) I didn't really know what to do, I'm walking through the house checking everything out, opened safe, etc.

It's sort of like if I was telling people at work my husband left me, but didn't have "the story" down, I'd start with the generalized version - Came home and Joe was gone - took everything - then while rambling, I say, well on Saturday I was out with friends, came home Joe was gone. went to bed, the next day realized bank accounts empty, safe empty... He was planning it for a while because his family member came up and they were going on vacation. They said vacation so it was planned...

I'm not saying he's innocent in all this, but I DO think his account of the way it went down is more real than I originally thought.

And for everyone saying to read all the threads - I did. For one - he didn't want anyone to know at the time so he kept it private so of course he's posting happy family pictures AFTER she leaves to keep up what's going on. I don't think just because he's posting family pics afterwards that it means he's lying about when she left.

I agree

Not saying she was a saint in the relationship, I could tell she's very high-maintenance. I couldn't care less what she buys to make herself feel better. People can grieve differently but I do think she has the right to speak up and defend herself. If she went into hiding after Peter spilled all of what he did on the radio, it's just going to confirm that everything he said was true.

Anonymous wrote:Can I just say how fucking annoying Danni's posts on Facebook are getting? We get it, you're trying like hell to say as much as you can without actually saying anything so as to not get yourself in trouble, but honestly, she keeps saying the same goddamn thing over and over again in a different manner. "I don't know what's going to happen, I miss you guys, I hope I get to come back" WE KNOW DANNI, IT'S NOT YOUR CHOICE THAT YOU'RE NOT ON THE RADIO RIGHT NOW. But for god's sake, at this point you need to just focus on what you do have and let this shit work itself out, no matter how hard it may be, because the constant jabs (again, not saying they aren't unwarranted) in your Facebook statuses to whoever it was that wronged you, are getting really ridiculous.

To be fair, she is probably still constantly getting comments and questions about where she is even though she is posting stuff because people probably aren't seeing some posts... She probably has to repeat herself often because of that...

True, but at some point when do you just allow the people to do a little research and figure out that she really can't say anything? I mean at this point, she's made several Facebook posts over the course of half a week, so if people haven't seen at least one of them by now, they can't have been that invested in the first place. I feel like it's gone past explanatory and into territory where she's just skirting the line of keeping quiet and blabbing her entire truth.

She just a new 3 year contract in October or November that she bragged about online and on the show so trying to renegotiate this quickly considering the haven't added any new stations since would be crazy. They also had off almost all of December, one week at Thanksgiving so since her contract signing she maybe worked 45 days.

Danni: love her or hate her, whatever, she’s good at promoting herself. She’s honest in the sense she says what she feels at the moment. So what if she changes up what she says, I don’t think that makes her a liar. Personally, I love her opinions but I can see how she grates on other people.

Rose: paid peanut gallery/laugh track. Not offensive but yawn.

IJ: not that funny but pretty innocuous. He talks too much about his GF, which could be interesting, but it’s mostly butterflies and roses. Yada yada.

Kane: Clearly thinks highly of himself - used to talk about how hard he works – I get it, it takes hours to come up with fake bits versus raw radio talent. From what he says, little slips from former co-workers, and known mental issues, I have no doubt he would be vengeful once scorned.

And last thought, if you aren't replacing a whole team, just a co-host, wouldn't you audition new talent to see if there's chemistry?

When Danni first joined the show in April 2013, they actually did a semi trial run with her in March. I am assuming she probably already had the job, but she did what I thought was a tryout about 3 weeks before she was introduced as full time.

Actually I believe they went on vacation the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and only did one live show the rest of the year after that.

I feel like I should listen to this show at least once in my life.

It is DEFINITELY a standoff between Danni and iHeart... Danni did something bad enough to get suspended but not bad enough to get justifiably fired (the kind that would result in them NOT having to pay out her contract). There is heat between them and iHeart is just hoping to piss her off enough to the point where she quits, which would also not result in a payout. So Danni is being stubborn and acting like she wants to come back (even though I think the bridges are burned) basically saying "I sure as hell am not quitting... if you want me to leave you have to pay me out". This honestly makes the most sense to me.

Maybe that did happen, and it hasn't gone public yet. It wouldn't be the first time in DC radio that has happened.

Stomach flu could have been explained on air. When other radio shows have someone off the air for whatever (Sports Junkies have this happen on a regular basis), they explain what the reasoning is, whether it is illness, late, death in the family, vacation, etc. That is what people do that care for their listeners.

Kane rarely did anything with charities. That also shows how much he thinks about himself and no one else. When you are in the public eye, you need to put yourself out there instead of being behind the microphone only.
