Wives, do you fold and put away your husband's laundry?

Don't wash or fold his clothes. I do all of my stuff and the babies. It works for us.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. We are very relaxed and haphazard about laundry. When something needs washing someone will throw a load in the washer. When it needs to come out, someone will throw the clean stuff in a laundry basket. Whichever of us in around and notices will fold the laundry. We just leave each other's folded laundry on the bed; each of us puts our own clothing away ...eventually.

wrong, again. my dick is bigger, guaranteed. I make more money than you, too, guaranteed. Actually, I guarantee that I make more money than anybody that posts or reads this god awful website.

My husband and I do not "share all the work" in the house. We partition it, each according to relative interest and time, and we outsource a LOT. What we do is not what my parents did and is not what my neighbors do. Housekeeping is a source of tension, but not NEARLY what it would be if we did not partition and outsource.

HIM:
All the cooking for every day dinner and parties.
Technology.
Wine and booze.
Most of the entertainment (he's just a fun-ner guy than I am).
Vacation arrangements (I'm too stingy when it comes to spending $ on travel. We have a better time if he researches and selects the hotel ).

ME:
Breakfasts and lunches for kids.
All the cleaning and almost all the cleanup for guests/parties, top to bottom.
Most of the daily cleanup.
I collect, wash, dry, and sort the laundry.
Seasonal decorating and seasonal gardening.
Seasonal cleaning of closets and toys.
Holiday stuff (if it doesn't involve cooking).
Playdate arranging and supervision.

OUTSOURCE:
Twice a week, Mon and Fri, someone comes to vacuum top to bottom, put away clothes, clean kitchen, and whatever else I ask that can fit into 4 hours. Yup, we spend a lot of money on this.

He works full time. I work part time.

And yet our home still seems like a friggin' mess all the time. It's those darn kids!!!!

Maybe not if the big dick and wads of cash in your pockets get in the way.

I am a SAHM, so the domestic stuff falls on me. I do all the laundry, my DH helps with some chores like dishes after dinner and bedtime.

I will fold and put away his clothes if I'm the one doing laundry, but 95% of the time, DH does the laundry and puts his and my laundry away.

Same in our house. This is way too much agita over laundry.

I will often do the wash but I never fold the clothes.

She is anal-retentive and will fold them all over again so why bother.

I absolutely do. DH works close to 70 hours a week. The last thing he needs to worry about is laundry, cooking, housework, etc. I try to make his life as easy as possible.

He does his laundry/sheets/towels. I do my laundry. And we both do the kids. It's just how it has worked out. When I stayed home, I did his and put it away. When he stayed home, he did mine til I told him not to.

My husband does most of the laundry.

Just depends on who gets to it.... sometimes he does laundry start to finish. Sometimes I do laundry start to finish. Sometimes I start and he'll fold, sometimes he'll start and I'll fold.

Yes, I do.

My mom always did my laundry growing up and my dad's laundry. She also had a fancy job, and my dad did plenty of other things for the house (more lawn and care maintenance things).

In our house, we don't spend too much time worrying about how the chores are split beyond the basic rule of "no one gets to sit around relaxing while someone else is busting their ass."
