Looks like Forbes was off. |
Even more embarrassing than her performance as CEO is the "media's" kid glove treatment of her since she's a female CEO of a tech company and a moderately attractive one at that. |
Might've been stock options related to the sale of Alibaba (which, to be honest, has been Yahoo's most valuable item for years.) |

too busy posing for vanity fair instead of being on top of one of the largest data breaches in history.
almost as bad a carly fiorina this clown of a woman! |
Agree. She is a show pony. Sucks that people might think women can't lead profitable companies because of these jokers. |
i can think women CAN lead profitable companies, but I don't think they can in silicon valley. Not yet. Tory Burch , Marillyn Hewson (lockheed), Phebe Novakovic (general dynamics), Indra Nooyi (pepsi) are all quite good execs and ceos but the valley is a different beast than fashion, cpg, or more stodgy defense contracting that relies on more stable revenue streams. |

She is the Gwyneth Paltrow of business - vapid, narcissistic and a false sense of superiority.
No, I'm not jealous; I have no respect. |

186 million dollar golden parachute for being an utter failure. I guess we have achieved gender parity now - women can also get totally undeserved rewards for their performance in the c-suite. |
$186 million. Wow. "A yes vote, which is widely expected, would end Marissa Mayer’s largely unsuccessful five-year effort to restore the internet pioneer to greatness. But Ms. Mayer, the company’s chief executive, will be well compensated for her failure." |
| How could anyone have turned around Yahoo?! |
| That really is the mystery. |
