I'm not a fan of hers. In the early days (and by that I mean decade) of charter schools when she was a councilmember, she didn't lift a finger for them. By that I mean simply visit or evidence curiosity or concern. You can be generally anti-charter (if that's what she is) and still care somewhat about the kids, educators and faculty. Especially in your own ward. I was pretty active at school and never saw a peep of her--including formal events she was ceremonially invited to--and that to me speaks volumes.

I think she's great. She's grown into the job IMO.
