That sounds like more of a teenage / rebellion issue, where faith just happens to be the outlet.

He isn't normally that disrespectful, though. He's not rebelling, we aren't religious. I guess he needs to work on how to phrase his opinion without sounding like a jerk. He can be whatever he wants to be (Athiest, Christian.. whatever) as long as he isn't an ass about it. |
to the PP with the teen, maybe gently remind him that he can structure his argument without an insulting lead to those he's discussing. "These Christians" etc.
It'll help him be a better speaker all around. But yeah, it's likely more of a jerky teen thing than a hateful thing. |
