College that won't inundate my kids with white guilt?

Op is an idiot. I don't feel guilty cause I'm white. I feel pissed off that cops Get away with choking a guy to death. Any body else on the p,anot would be serving time for manslaughter at the Least. Being pissed at the system is not feeling guilty. It's demanding justice

(In the name of tolerance, of course).

Thank you for being frank about a real problem with American education. When colleges are teaching how to squat, hire the likes of Bill Ayers, etc., this is an important question!

Emory is seriously liberal. - the freshman dorms are named for social justice causes.

I think the OP is asking for colleges where ALL ideas are welcomed and open debate is encouraged ( not just liberal debate but a true exchange of ideas).. Sorry OP just completed the college search with DD .. Can't even name one. Good luck- seriously I hope you can find one.. We didnt

Perhaps if you feel every college in the US has a problem, the real problem lies within you.

That by definition is a liberal school. Conservatives just believe and do not want to be exposed to an exchange of ideas.

And you think that's a bad thing? But okay with dorms named after klan leaders (UT, Texas)?

Duke recently renamed their dorm which was named after the architect of Jim Crow laws, literacy tests for blacks, and poll taxes.

Penn (depending on which classes you take or avoid - you can go either way there - lots of more conservative minded policy sci profs, econ, Wharton, etc)

But Penn has a lot of Jewish kids pp and if OP isn't Jewish she doesn't sound like the kind of person who welcomes diversity.

Agree with this - you either care about equality and social justice or you don't - but no one feels guilt for being white.

My kid is a libertarian. She doesn't want this shit shoved down her throat. That is all.

No. The problem lies with the schools.

The sad hing about this is that the OP is pretty much saying her DC is to "stupid" to use critical thinking skills and form an opinion.

As an AA who's about to graduate from a school in Salisbury, I've had PolySci professors who were liberal in nature, but didn't jam their views down our throats and wanted to hear the STUDENTS give our opinions. The exception was a professor I a few semesters ago who was a Socialist and challenged my political and economic views from day one. Guess what? I'm still a Capitalist and a Republican, but I'm more knowledgable about other economic and political ideologies and can understand the logic behind Socialism. Though, I still disagree with it and think it's the worst idea ever.

Now, If I'm mature enough and more than capable of forming my own opinions and I certainly don't get mad when I hear people rag on Conservative ideology or question why I'm against XYZ, why can't your DC do the same?

OP, if your DC is 18 years old, they should have NO problem hearing about this stuff and if they're mature, they won't tune the opinions of others out like most people do now because it's not what they believe in. Guess what? The world is full of different viewpoints. If you don't like it, stay in your bubble and be ignorant, but don't get upset when people call you out.

BTW, White guilt and White privilege are some of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. In reality, Black folks don't really care about them, despite what some think and tbh, it's mostly other white folks who seem to care...go figure.

But seriously, grow up and get over yourself.

Honestly, pretty much any school except the REALLY liberal ones will do. Just tell your kid to major in business or STEM to avoid the extreme nutty leftists for the most part.
