I made this on Thursday. My goodness it is good! I doubled all the spices except salt and sugar.

I made something like this last weekend (didn't really follow the recipe, but was inspired by it in what I threw in the pot.) Made a huge batch. This soup is really really delicious, healthy, and a change of pace.

PP here. One thing I added that is not in the recipe is two big heaping spoonfuls of thai red chili paste. I think that may be part of why I loved it...

Made this tonight. YUM! The only thing I did different was double the spices (except salt) and added a can of drained corn. The recipe doesent specify which kind but I used red lentils.

^^ Forgot to add, if you do WW the soup is 1sp per serving. I think the addition of corn might make my version more than 1 sp per serving.

It felt like a soup day when I woke up (dreary and rainy) but now it's warm and sunny. Oh well, I made soup anyway. This is delicious. I doubled the spices, added thyme, and mashed some of it for a thicker stew consistency.

Also since we've all developed bread making skills in the past 6 months, easy homemade bread recipes to pair with soup would be delightful.

Love this one. I make it with vegetable stock instead of chicken stock sometimes:

In another thread, someone freaked out that it was high in calories. Yeah and? A cup of soup and a salad and that's dinner.

Thank you. I made the lemon chicken orzo soup today and the whole (non-soup loving) family loved it.

This weekend I made chili and cast iron skillet cornbread. I didnt use a crock pot specific chili recipe, but I made it in there anyway. I just love the smell when I have food cooking in the crock pot all day.
