Oh now it's on, you just got yourself another 4 weeks, don't make me come. |
| If it starts as rain, it will stay rain. |
Looks like we're all getting plenty of winter weather according to CWG. Aint gonna be just rain. |
Why do I find myself playing this video over and over? Too funny. |
| Latest weather model (Euro) has DC getting nearly a foot of snow by the end of Monday. |
|
I am flying back from France today with a bag full of pastries.
Bring it. |
| Did NWS just update to 8-12" inches for DC? |
Do you know how weather works?
|
I can see why the PP feels this way. It's not as usual in this area, for the temps to plummet during the day, turning a rain event to snow, which is what's happening. Usually, the snow occurs overnight, changes to ice, then rain as temperatures warm. There is another (damn) polar vortex which is responsible for dropping the temperatures earlier than the last times. |
Yes, NWS is more bullish than others. CWG still saying 5-9. |
Yup. The "bullseye" is expected to be over our area. |
Yes, but they will likely be upping their totals in the next few hours. |
|
NOAA just upped it:
