Didn't she have an issue with a collapsed lung several times and had to have surgery? In addition to having 3 kids and all the other stuff that she does. She is probably really busy. Plus, maybe she is in a great place and is comfortable in her own skin now.

Interesting how so many overweight and obese women embrace the euphemism "curves." Kind of glosses over the overweight and obese thing.

That said, I'm not at all sure Mariska is either of these. She probably just had a substantial weight gain after pregnancy.

She is not that proud of her curves anymore. Is a interview with a yoga magazine, she said the most negative things about what she likes of her appearance. She said she dislikes most things of her appearance as well.
Which is about time, she is chubby.
She also admitted the ONLY exercise she does is "chasing perps" (which she doesn't even do on the show much anymore being she plays a srgnt.)
