She does has two biological sisters-- Tina Hargitay (from Mickey Hargitay's first marriage) and Jayne Marie Mansfield (from Jayne Mansfield's first marriage). She also has some in-law sisters (or ex-SILs?) because Mariska also has three brothers-- Mickey, Zoltan, and Tony. I SERIOUSLY doubt Mariska's real sisters on on DCUM though.

She's 54 now. 
She was hilarious on the James Corden show the other night. She has a HUGE personality and seems very fun to be around. Even though she and her character-- Olivia Benson-- have some things in common, such as being advocates for DV/SA survivors, Mariska seems much more fun/spirited/easy-going than her character is. She also seems extraordinarily dedicated to her husband (Peter Hermann), her three children, and her huge network of "besties." |

I thought she was gorgeous at the beginning of SVU and she's gorgeous now. She looks way better than most suburban moms. But even if I wasn't into her - power is f*cking sexy and seeing a woman lead a show like SVU with no co-stars and her clear dedication to it is inspiring.
