What I love is that the ranting Christians here throw around atheist as the equivalent of amoral and aspiritual. There are many atheists who are very spiritual, moral and reverent. Buddhists, Shintoists and Transcendentalists are just a few of the variations of atheistic groups that are very spiritual and moral. And you don't have to be a theist to believe in an afterlife.
Agree with the PPs who have said that ranting boors exist in every sub-group in America, including both religious and areligious. |
