White Girls w/ Curly Hair

What do you do if you have naturally curly hair that is super light blonde and very thick? My DD has this hair and most curl products darken her hair and make it look dirty or greasy. No product and she gets frizzy. She has very long hair that curls into long ringlets when its humid. I'd love some suggestions for products that she can apply when her hair is wet and let it dry naturally. Also, she is an athlete and get sweaty every day so needs to be able to wash it every day. TIA.

Extra thick in-shower conditioner - look for a wash out hair "mask"
Leave in conditioner spray
Argon oil at the tips and work it half way up the hair
Aveda's Damage Remedy leave-in is non-greasy but also $$$, so I only use it on myself and use the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie on my DD. A little goes along way and it will look greasy if you use too much. So similar to the argon oil, start out at the tips and work half way up the hair. Don't put it on the scalp.
