Thank you Jeff. I hope that we can get a chance to meet face-to-face in the near future.
Also, thank you to all of the Ward 4 residents, volunteers, family and friends who came out and showed their support. I am extremely grateful and humbled by your efforts. Sincerely, Andrew Moss |
Sure glad that people know the truth about DKAnderson, now that she's already been elected, but at least the previous poster asked first in desperation. Good job DC voters, most of you fell for it again and elected someone to a Board of Education that has never been an educator. Next time you vote, be sure to read about the people you're electing, and make sure they're qualified. At least Mr Moss and Ms Almquist were qualified, were DCPS teachers, and are experts in their fields. One way to fix this conundrum is to change this position from being an elected one, to a nominated and confirmed one. On a side note, the whole "DKA" thing makes me cringe. Medically, DKA=Diabetic KetoAcidosis, a potentially fatal side effect of very high blood-sugar levels. |
I would have ignored this, but the nonsense at the end about the initials is such blatant negativism that I have to respond. Anderson has been very active in the community for years, and as an educator of sorts myself (taught college for about 35 years), I think there is a place on a policy board for someone other than professional teachers. I don't know whether she was the best choice, but trash talk is not a constructive contribution. |
Interesting read from the Washington Examiner about the Special Election:
