How is to not be Jewish at GDS?

This whole thing sounds really made up. No one would say any of the stuff at any school in this area. People are race baiting here. I'm not Jewish, but I don't like people dogging other people's religions.

Ah, see the rest of us were talking about GEORGETOWN Day School.

Yeah. I have never even heard of Gesher Day School.

Well, that makes the AD's talk with you more understandable.

No one is that dumb. In this area -- everyone would know Georgetown Day as GDS. Methinks a troll is about.

I don't know, maybe the Gesher poster just assumed that the OP was talking about being non-Jewish at an actually Jewish school (rather than being vaguely anti-semitic re a secular school). In which case it's an honest mistake and one than comes from a more rational place the the original post did.

Sometimes savvy is its own form of stupid.

15:34, you made my grumpy day.

You are extremely parochial. I'm familiar with Georgetown Day, but have never, ever, heard anyone refer to it as GDS. You need to get out more.

Here are some other acronyms you should study.

CIA = Central Intelligence Agency
FBI = Federal Bureau of Investigation
JFK = John Fitzgeral Kennedy
STD = Sexually Transmitted Disese

PITA = pain in the ass
PP = previous poster

Why would GDS not also stand for Gesher Day School? Not everyone is wrapped up in the world of the CT ave and Wisc Ave privates.

Because it runs K-8, has been around about a third of the time of GDS, and has a couple hundred kids total.

Because Georgetown Day has a national reputation, but Gersher is a school that only a few people in DC know about.

Which has more more jewish kids?

Maybe the pp is trying to be funny, but it falls flat. All this speculation about whether GDS has too many Jews or is too Jewish just rings anti-semitic and offensive to at least this reader.
