This is absolutely what it looks like. I'm genuinely curious -"cool" kids excluding others is an age old problem - why isn't the obvious solution coaching the excluded kids to make their own groups of genuine, nice friends? It seems like such a simple solution over begging for inclusion, or pressuring to invite the whole class or whatever. Forcing yourself into a friend group never ends well. Why isn't that the lesson?
