She had a number one song and was on cover of People Magazine with headling "The Next Madonna" She had several top 10 hits.

Most have foregotten about her.

Her big hit "All Night Passion" came out in 1984 but I was ever nighclub I went to in the 1980s and 1990s that sond was played at least once a night and floor would be packed.

Her self-titled first album, produced by Mark Berry and released on Vanguard Records, included the hits All Night Passion (#4 Hot Dance US), Baby Talk (#1 Hot Dance US), and Too Turned On (#6 Hot Dance US) and sold over two million copies. Her second album, Nightwalkin', was released on RCA Records in 1987 and included the songs Do You Dream About Me? (for the movie Mannequin) and Into My Secret (which reached #9 on the Hot Dance US charts). Her third album Bounce Back was produced by Michael Jay and was released on MCA Records in 1990. It included the title track (which reached #10 on the Hot Dance US charts) and the single Wrong Number,

Ha. Alisha. I hope she's doing great today.

Two songs I liked but my girlfriend didn’t. I knew it wouldn’t work out with us.

I still listen to and attend concerts by Mother Mother. They still rock. Probably forgotten and lesser known band. They have had a re-emergence with teen DS though.
