Local girl from Sidwell. Way to go!
Cap Orange and Sky Walkers White girls showing that continuing to work hard can have its rewards. Being on those teams can be an obstacle (relatively speaking) to getting to top programs, but it's also possible to work your way up still with the opportunity you do have.

The ‘28s still have Orange players who should be on Blue. Do not be surprised when they commit to great schools too.

Stop posting anything other than commitments. Stay on topic or create your own post if you want to talk about whatever you're bringing up now. The only thing we care about on this post is listing the commitments so we have a quick and easy reference for where players committed in the class of 2027.

Please shut up, you are not in charge of the thread. There's an updated post at the top of this page, ffs. And people have been doing info collecting for your entitled highness. Jeebus.

I think it is wonderful, she should be super proud. If she works hard she can be set up for success, Dartmouth is a great school. But to my point regarding top recruits, Dartmouth isn’t very good, they got smashed by every decent team they played last year. They have had some recruiting successes in the past two cycles, nabbing a few highly ranked kids, but the rest of their classes are typically marginal D1 types.

Dartmouth is just one of the highest academic institutions in the country with a top 25 Wlax program that has the best draw girl in the game and beat three currently-ranked top-30 teams and held two others to competitive games. BC and Penn were the only big losses. Kids have a pathway to Wall Street and will make incredible dough once they graduate if they want. Unlike ...

Really, which poll had them in the top 25? They played a terrible schedule and got stomped by BC, UPenn, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. UMass is the only decent win they had last year, and UMass’ ranking was propped up by a super weak schedule. Dartmouth is wonderful, but the lacrosse program is not great.

You people are crazy. This is splitting hairs. It's Dartmouth. The team is good enough. Unlike football and basketball there isn't NIL money or future multi-million dollar contract. Good grief people.
The entire anti-Dartmouth arguments from all sides have been ludicrous. Maybe do it once they have another off year.

Totally agree...the focus on bringing down virtually every school is nauseating. From some of these posters, it would seem that the only schools that are "good" are BC, UNC, Florida or Northwestern...

Congrats on Dartmouth...incredible school and incredible program/coaching staff from what I have heard.

Classy^^

I agree...start you own commentary thread to bash the choices of a bunch of 16 years olds....

"2027 Girl Player Commitments Commentary"

Also, on your first post, you can share your credentials, including where you got your kids committed, provide a summary of their careers, and of course, share your personal resume as an expert in this field.

Posting the same list over and over can get a bit boring, so jump in with your own thoughts if you want! This thread is all about celebrating the 2027 players who've worked hard to commit to playing college lacrosse. Try to keep things positive, or just feel free to lurk. If you're dead set on sh!t talking, the 2028 thread is perfect for that and the participants would welcome the action.

Because Capital is not a meritocracy. Everyone knows that.

So sad for Capital when the only big commit is from the B team. Very happy for her but it is an indictment of the Capital model of how they select girls. Hope to see more Orange commitments soon.

You tell me when the Blue team lists one commit anywhere, Hannibal. Such an embarrassment that Orange is in the board with a big name school before Blue.
