I love a lot of these suggestions!
Particularly: No weed Trash and recycling clean up after themselves NPS is fully staffed and funded and maintain their parks and sites Community art and performance spaces, outdoor gyms and exercise spaces (with shade/rain cover) More security on public transportation Laws are better enforced, and punishments become stricter for minors Also: metro and buses should run way more frequently, similar to European and Asian cities. Like every 1-2 minutes (the metro trains could have fewer cars). This makes public transportation a more viable option for many. Right now it’s very often faster to drive than to take the bus or metro, disincentivizing use. |
No income tax (would trade home rule in its current guise since the Council works against the citizens and is corrupt) Full enforcement of nuisance laws to make the quality of life excellent: no ATVs, no litter, no carjacking, no pot that smells Redevelop the riverfront including lidos and pools |

Chocolate factory
Delicious but not upscale restaurants More pedestrian friendly, fewer cars |
Union Station plus weed cleanup for areas where others can't avoid passing though the aura as pedestrians |
You mean the folks at 1600 Penn! |
1) Evict the felon living at 1600 Pennsylvania. That would go a long way to combatting crime. 2) Heavily invest in wrap around services for homeless 3) Invest in youth programs |

1. Get rid of Trump.
2. Get rid of Stephen Miller. I'm not sure about number three. |

Statehood for DC
2 senators 2 representatives Everything else will fall in place when we have equal rights like the rest of the country. |
No, you need to pay income tax like everyone else. |
|
1. Change the laws.
2. Get rid of the Mayor and Police Chief. 3. Get rid of the Council members. |
I don’t if we get rid of the home rule. Property prices skyrocket. Allen out of the job. Frikking paradise |
I would most definitely: - defund the police, - abolish ICE, - bring back Sanctuary policies, and - open the prison doors wide. That will definitely make D.C. much better. |
| You can't because a place is defined by its culture. By its residents. Sorry but when you put lawyers, defense contractors/feds and lobbyists in any one place, you end up with DC. That is, a lot of money but no value. No real fun and nothing interesting city. No appreciation of truly fine food - just the same boringness. |
Home rule. |
An amazing scenario that you’ve made up in your head. Are you trying to attribute this to someone or something? |
