Agree...she's about the extremes and I think her judgment in the past has been so very poor. I once saw a tik tok where she was talking about reading Jung ( good for her) AND how she believed feminism had been problematic and I thought wow, so in her mind it wasn't the powerful sexual abuse perpetrators in childhood or her abusive husbands and the myriad of other toxic other men that caused her pain in her life, it wasn't even her ultimate decision to feel compelled to then sexualize herself for profit, essentially repeating the pattern and making herself a sexualized caricature and thereby opening herself up to more abuse, sadly. It was none of these things. It was feminism that was that was the problem. What is there to say about someone this misguided and ignorant? It boggles the mind.

Agree that at first glance, her feminism/mixed messages are perplexing, like when she flip-flopped on #MeToo. But then I think about all the females who publicly adored Weinstein. They played the game too, until they didn't. I think her early experiences/abuse reinforced that she would always be looking for approval and saying a lot of the things she said.

Because when you are admitted to an old boy club because of your looks, you become indoctrinated into the things they tell you. You become validated by parroting their words back to them- even if you don't realize you are doing it. Catering to your fan base ensures you have fans. Soundbites like that are symptoms of her servitude to the system. Which she is old enough now to give less effs about. I'd like her insight to continue to improve. Plus she has that #Boymum thing happening where they reinforce the Madonna/whore complex in their sons by talking about all the bad, manipulative horrible women out there and how they are making the world so hard for men- who used to have it better when women had no voice. (no not all mothers of males are like this)

I'm less annoyed by her than by Mayim Bialik's similar comments and victim blaming. Different psychologies at work for both of them (for obvious reasons) but both are problematic. I think the bottom line is that sometimes you make better choices, and sometimes it's just luck if you are able to make better choices/aren't abused by others.

I think she was sexually abused at a young age; had little support or help so that was a trauma that set her up for later traumas and chaos sadly.
