Is city scent of DC Pot now?

I was at a funeral last week. Someone sitting behind us had been smoking weed, so disrespectful.

Went to a nice(ish) restaurant on New Year's Eve, the staff had been smoking. Unlikely that we'll be returning.

We’re having issues in our office building with tenants smoking pot in the bathrooms and common areas. It’s gross and so unprofessional.

The majority of dispensaries in DC are in violation of federal drug law since they are within 1000 feet of schools and daycares. This is one case I wish Pirro would take a look at.

But yet the schools and daycares seem to be unharmed. So then what problem are you trying to solve? You want to block people up and ruin their lives so that they don’t smell bad to you? That seems a bit disproportionate.

I live in Cleveland Park and rarely smell pot here. I walk frequently to Tenleytown, Woodley Park, and Mount Pleasant. Mount Pleasant has a lot more pot odor but it is never pervasive. I often wonder if the people who smell it "everywhere" and "all the time" (even in the H Street and U Street neighborhoods) are prone to hyperbole or just unwell.

Maybe you don't have a keen sense of smell.

I smell gasoline leaks more than anyone I know.
I smell pot when we're out driving with our windows closed. The only suspects can be other cars.

Unfortunately I have a very keen sense of smell and I cough quite a bit around any smoke (hence all the walks, so I can live a bit longer given my lungs' issues).
