Students who take AP Calculus AB or BC in 10th grade generally perform well on the SAT Math section. The advanced math concepts covered in Calculus, including algebra and precalculus, are directly relevant to the SAT math content. Additionally, the rigor of the AP Calculus course can improve a student's overall mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, which are beneficial for tackling the SAT math questions.

That's right. They may quickly have to relearn all the geometry formulas, though, and things like "combinations and permutations" and a handful of other concepts that need to be known (can't be figured out).
