Sorry, PP. Hang in there. It sucks but keep in mind that a lot of people will not make a decision until June 1 when they are locked into tuition. This year more people may be delaying making a final decision.

I would think that since deposits are due today they’ll likely start sending out waitlist movement next week?

Anyone know if WIS is a real WL or a soft no?

DMV waitlists are going to move this year. Everywhere. People are nervous about the economy and rightfully so.

WL at Bullis, St Andrews, Maret and Holton. It's been crickets.

Everyone is so sure that waitlists will move dramatically. I know it sucks, but I disagree. Too many people with too much money not dependent upon anything that’s being slashed.

When my child got off the waitlist, we found out just after deposits were due....like 15 minutes after. So I bet some folks heard today but not many.

Gonzaga, one of the largest and least expensive schools, did not go to their waitlist for a single candidate. That evidence flies in the face of the theory that fewer accepted students will attend because of financial pressures or uncertainty.

My son got onto Gonzaga waitlist a few years ago. And we just gave up GDS and Bullis for 9th. You never know!

You missed the news. Gonzaga has announced they will not be going to the Waitlist this year.

When you are offered a spot from the wait pool, is it an email or a phone call?

Of course my kid has to be in the hardest year ever to get into Gonzaga. Everyone we know from our public go in off the waitlist.

You actually said the main point, one of the “least expensive schools”. So them not going to the WL proves that maybe people are picking Gonzaga vs other private schools because the cost is cheaper. Duh.
