The cameras aren’t sitting on a country road at 1:00 AM when the MAGA paramilitaries run you off the road, or outside your house at 3:30 AM when they break in armed to the teeth, or at 7:55 AM when they show up with a stolen school bus to take your kids to school, just a few minutes ahead of the real school bus.

That’s what you get if you’re a Coeur d’Alene police officer and you interfere when the GOP and your sheriff and their unidentified paramilitary security forces drag out a loud Democrat woman from the auditorium by her hair. That video is un-American. That should not be accepted in a civilized society that operates under functioning rule of law.

No matter if someone is loud, disruptive, or even rude, they should not be just... blatantly assaulted and dragged away. Event security or an on duty police officer might remove someone for being sufficiently disruptive (frankly I personally don't think the lady in the video was much worse than many other attendees) but not that way -- that was unidentified violent goons.
