Another story to add here: my dad‘s best friend from his job as an electrician was killed while on the job. He was climbing a pole and was electrocuted. The news helicopters responded to the incident and showed his body hanging off the top of the pole dead. I remember watching the news with my dad that evening and it was on TV live and he was crying. His best friend was just hanging from the top of an electrical pole fried and dead. This was a guy who I remember going to his house for a barbecue and playing with his kids. That’s the reality of blue-collar jobs: people die and then we move on. |
Which is a perfect illustration why we need immigrants to do these jobs. |
The ruling class doesn't want immigrants to do these jobs because they give a shit about proles ruining their bodies or dying, they simply want to slam wages, pump the GDP, and fracture voting blocs. Both sides of the aisle despise white foundational stock Americans. They want a cattle class of prole slaves who work for peanuts. |
PP here: The guy that died was a first gen Egytian-American. My dad is a mix of foundational stock white American and Irish-American. All I heard through middle school and high school was that I needed to go to college and get a good white collar job. He was telling me this while I applied Silvadene to his burn wounds for 3 months, after he was already in the hospital for 2 months. I despise grifters like Rufo and anti-union hack Mike Rowe who pushed for-profit scam trade schools on his young listeners (tons of stories on Reddit about this). |
Do you have cites of how Dems despise this cohort of people? |
|
It's absolutely wild that getting into a job in politics used to mean volunteering in campaigns, poly sci degrees, thin tanks, school board, etc.
Now it means shitposting memes online. |
Yup, actions speak louder than words. All their kids are in the best schools and colleges. They value education. For the elite. |
Seriously stay far away from that chimichuri |
Sure. Go to the DCUM real estate and school sub forums and look at all the coded language they use to be in the least diverse and wealthiest neighborhoods and schools. lol |
You have got to be kidding. This is perhaps one of the most ridiculous claims of "evidence" I've ever seen on DCUM. |
|
Well, I’d like to share.
You must have missed that beauty from a DCUM on Refinery29’s Money Diary. This quote from her is my favorite, regarding her kid’s private school that her parents are paying for (btw financial aid is given on basis of the parents’ income, not the grandparents’ income. "The admissions team really doesn't want an influx of people who are actually poor, so the financial aid goes to people who can't quite be full-pay, but who fit in with the other parents at the school." |
