Matt Walsh is a fascinating character - he's never meaningfully participated in any societal institution. He was home schooled, never went to college, was a blogger and now a podcaster. I don't think he's saying not to go to college. He's saying that there is opportunity all around us. Making 100k to manage a Chipotle isn't a bad deal, and can lead to more. I have a friend who's worked in fast food her entire life and makes millions in annual compensation. She started as a food prep worker at a fast food joint, also dealing drugs from the restaurant for extra cash. Went legit as she moved up, and up, and up. Now she makes in the low 7 figures, doing work that most people consider beneath them.
