A big lift for Wisconsin’s left.
Liberals will now hold a majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court through at least 2028, barring any unexpected vacancies. That means abortion and labor rights in the state are all but certain to get a favorable hearing. At the national level, Judge Crawford’s election could soon lead to a redrawing of Wisconsin’s Republican-tilted congressional maps. Democrats believe that could produce a swing of two seats. For the state’s Democrats, the court seat also provides a critical backstop in an era of divided state government. With a Democrat as governor and Republicans in control of the State Legislature (though Democrats are optimistic about reclaiming a majority in at least one chamber next year), it will continue to fall to the court to litigate key disputes. The justices in recent years have served as superlegislators, directing policy when the rest of the government is at a stalemate. |

Musk described the importance of this election several days before it happened. So according to him, it sounds like the beginning of the end of MAGA now that Dems have won.

You're right, 9 just checked and they reference the big win for voter ID, and that's it. Nothing about the Wisconsin supreme court election, that Musk and others were calling the vote for the future of America [and the the future of MAGA]. Because MAGA lost. |

They should have done that a LONG time ago. Even if they shed him the boycott should continue as long as he holds TSLA. The number re in this morning and they aren’t good, and those are probably inflated. Looking forward to the financial reports. |

He has stacked the board. However, this morning Tesla reported earnings, and they failed to meet the street's expectations. The last time their delivery numbers were this low was in 2022. Maybe they board is telling Elon he needs to focus on the company and get his arse back to work. |
