Did you even read the article? It is detailing how Biden was pre-fed questions that he still couldn't answer, was protected by staffers to the point that cabinet heads couldn't even get an audience with him, and important meetings were rescheduled based on his level of functioning. All these things were kept out of the media with a wink and nod. You think those things will happen with Trump? You think reporters will agree to only ask him prearranged questions? You think if some governor wants to meet with him and his staff says "he's having a bad day" they won't go straight to the media with that juicy tidbit? The fact that the media hates Trump so much by definition prevents this situation. It relies on a complacent press.

I guess I just don’t think sustaining oneself on fast food and no sleep is something admirable (assuming these claims are even true). But he definitely looks like a guy who eats McDonald’s and is haggard.

Donilon blocked Biden from any information about how bad his polls were. Biden was polling badly even before the debate. Trump was leading in all national polls. Biden was also blocked from any bad press.

Agree that Donilon, Richetti, Klain and Jill were running the country.

Klain resigned in early 2023. Jill was definitely not running the WH.

I don’t know. The change in him from the beginning of his presidency until the end of his term was extreme. He was functioning fine when elected. Not so after four years. That’s why who the president chooses to run government agencies and appoint to positions especially his cabinet is so important. If they aren’t trustworthy the country could be in danger.

Trump is right there in age and doesn’t seem that sharp or with it. It’s a little concerning what will happen if he starts to rapidly decline.
