I think you are spot on. Seems like such a strong reaction to your daughter being missing unless you are the reason she disappeared and were afraid the truth would come out.

I am not requesting a refund. If I gave a ton, sure, but I just chipped in a little . There were so many unknowns and I think positivity and moral support and of course practically speaking financial go a long way. It's the Christmas season for me , I'll take the good karma, and I wish them healing and that they pay it forward when they can.

It would cross my mind if one of my kids went missing. The pain and fear would be too overwhelming.

I'm with you. He didn't even let it play out that long, which is weird especially when the person "missing" is an able bodied 30 year old adult.
