Matt Gaetz tapped for AG

Not a fan of this pick. At all. But it’s the only pick I absolutely loathe far. I hated a lot of Biden’s picks too.

As long as Elon’s on board, I have faith.

1) Does anyone want to have a conversation about how DEI candidates are not qualified?

2) Between Rubio and Gaetz, who thinks Trump is trying to create opportunities for family members? Rumor is that Lara Trump will get Rubio's seat. Do any Trump family members live in the panhandle?

That would be great. The Senate needs more French Culinary Institute grads.

Thune agreed to recess appointments. If the swamp bites back, won't matter

Did he? What power does Trump have to make the Senate confirm this choice, even by their absence?

Watching MAGA doing a victory dance over this crap simply proves to me that they ARE trash human beings.

Gaetz’s dad controls $1.5 billion in BP oil spill settlement $$$ (he’s a member of board overseeing disbursements).

Watch those $$$ carefully.

I feel so bad for the career civil service personnel who are working in some of these agencies.

There was an audible reaction inside the Justice Department headquarters when President-elect Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz as attorney general, a department employee told CNN.

Well, you let Trump slide by for years and didn't do jack......Haha....I said, haha

Totally agree with this ... something way more sinister is about to play out.

The Nestor thing always made me wonder if anyone had actually checked with the Cubans about his family. Like, Elian Gonzalez except a dark alternate reality where the relatives were trafficking perverts who "forgot" to tell his father he was alive.

All empires fall eventually and many morph into a clown show in their death throes. I guess this is what we get.

"I told you so" is a phrase I didn't want to say, and didn't expect to say this early, before Trump's even inaugurated, but here we are.

Matt Gaetz is a criminal, with an odd relationship with a child named Nestor that he adopted and had a relationship with. There are other assault/abuse allegations against him too. And Trump's decision is to make him AG of the country??

This decision shows how bad a president Trump will be. Republicans didn't win. All of America lost (except the criminals like Trump and Gaetz).

Oof. The people who voted for Trump or voted red this election are going to be judged so badly by history. They will be doing the walk of shame and crying "we got duped" but it will be too late. We're all going to feel the pain collectively after he sells out our country and all our intelligence secrets to his corrupt friends, fam and our worst international enemies.
