Americans turned away from the leftist agenda in this election. They don’t like the results. Trump just happened to be the name on the side, and his “warts” and all could not stop this repudiation.

Can the Dems pivot to make themselves more attractive to mainstream America? I don’t know.

I mean, they literally picked a convicted felon. It doesnt seem like it would have mattered who it was up against, a convicted criminal clown was the preferred candidate. Seems like the country just wants to vote in the gutter.

What does it tell you when democrats lose an election to a convicted felon? The majority of the people think they are worse. And I agree with them.

It seems the only things that matter to the Democratic party are LBGTIA, ESG, DEI and open borders. Most people disagree.

It tells you that republicans would rather a convict running their country than a woman.

The pt being for this thread, it’s not about Trump. It’s about getting away from the current regime. And that what the American people voted for.

But Americans are perpetually discontent now. In this case, it benefitted Trump but it’s mostly about discontent for any existing government.

No the holier than thou attitude of democrats is too much.

Trump won. Big time. Now he is going to crush the living daylights out of wokeness. I dont care how he does it and how many rules he breaks. Democrats deserve it.

Yikes, you realize you are talking about taking peoples rights away? But you don't care (and are in fact happy) that he will "crush" them, because they "deserve" it, for trying to be inclusive? And kind? And caring? Those are your neighbors and friends, and that's the disdain you have for them?

A lot more than republicans voted for him. Indys and a fair number of democrats. And lots of women.

No, you are forgetting history. Obama won on change, Trump won on change, Biden won on change.

None of that is true considering the cities with the worst per capita crime rates (by far) are places like Birmingham, Memphis and a bunch of other 2nd tier southern cities.

Again, maybe just concede there are well run blue cities (67% of economic growth in the US comes from places like Seattle, San Fran, as well as Atlanta, Austin) and poorly run blue cities.

Boston is another well run city in a blue state.

Maybe just concede Dems lost this election big-time ? You don’t like my reasons, then tell me why they lost?

There is nothing overly attractive about Trump, other than his stated aversion to the leftist policies discussed above.

Please, tell me why the Dems lost ? They had perfect DEI candidate, Woman and Minority, should have won easily just on that. That tells me there were even major defections in those groups. Please tell me why ?

That was my point…even in red states, the cities are all blue.

Blue areas also tend to be the healthiest and most well educated. There is a reason for the correlation between lower educational achievement and supporting Trump. And no I’m not just making this up, there is actual demographic support for this.

Trump serves up idiot-appealing sound bites for the people who will repeat “state’s rights!” while having no idea what the 10th amendment actually is. Then they’ll claim they can’t get ahead in life because of “DEI hires” ignoring the fact they just can’t compete once no longer placed on a pedestal (and boy are they pissed about it).

This person also doesn’t think rules should apply to the president of the United States. They’re placing a person above the laws of our country, which is one of the least patriotic things you can do. You can’t pretend you care about America when you write garbage like this.

Internalized misogyny runs deep. They all prefer a convicted felon and rapist over... a woman.

Uh that's probably the reason she lost. These racists/sexists want a white man, not a minority representing them

Blaming the voters is not going to work. It’s more diverse now, than ever.

Not taking away any rights.

This is what we are talking about:

1) Control unchecked illegal migration and its impact on public schools
2) Punish crime - Why are criminals not going to jail?
3) Trans - parents don’t want boys to play girls sports or elementary teachers to pass out pronoun pins
4) DEI - special treatment for certain groups. Why does a nuclear physicist write a 6 page document on DEI before he can even qualify for a research grant?

Did Kamala address these issues? No. That is why she lost.

What exactly are Kamala's qualifications?

She is not elected through any primary process. She was selected first by Biden whose criteria for VP is "woman".

Then when he dropped out, instead of a proper primary process, she is anointed as the democratic pick without any competition.

What exactly did she do as a VP? Not much of substance. What is her vision? She did not lay it out.

Look I am male and voted for Kamala, because I just cannot get myself to vote for Trump. But I really glad that Trump won.

Instead of looking in the mirror, you blame the rest of the country and 51% of the population as racist and misogynistic idiots.

Reading your post, it is a mistake to give women the right to vote.
